 Cessna 140 from Dare Kit

Objective: Log the model airplanes that DuPage Joe flies or has flown, giving their sizes, power plant characteristics and performance. Also record planes flown by his friends, including photos he has made of them over the years. He invites his friends to comment on their planes to complete the record.

Who is DuPage Joe:
DuPage Joe lives in DuPage County, Illinois, USA, and has flown a wide variety of Model Aircraft for over 60 years. He has a special interest in Free Flight Model Aircraft, flown without radio guidance, both Sport and Scale types, powered by a twisted rubber band motor. He also has built and flown radio controlled model aircraft, powered by either internal combustion or electric motors, as well as soaring gliders without motors. He is a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA = https://www.modelaircraft.org), the USA Community of aircraft modelers, which promotes their safe and sane operation. He is also a member of the Flying Aces Club (http://flyingacesclub.com ), an AMA special interest group for modelers dedicated to a less complex sort of model aircraft. He is a retired Research Chemist and has also had over 50 years’ experience with computers.
