Peck Prairie Bird

The Prairie Bird was my first try at competing in the FAC Embryo Class. It is a very popular beginner Embryo with a long history.  A kit is available at https://www.wind-it-up.com/  A nice YouTube video of a successful flight has been posted by joshuawfinn entitled "Peck Prairie Bird, take 2"  June 2009.  A how to article may be found at http://www.theplanpage.com/things/pb/pb.htm

Anna Jr. FAC Embryo class plane

The Anna Jr. was built from a BMJR kit, and falls under FAC rules for the Embryo class.  My Anna Jr. leaps into the air with thrust from her 7 inch diameter propeller.  My plane gets full bonus points for wheel pants, exhaust stacks, and windshield.  I built mine from a kit by BMJR models ( https://www.bmjrmodels.com/anna-jr ) in 2011 and have flown it in 6 meets.  It is a good stable flyer, but the t-tail must be glued on right. Wing span is 16.5 inches, and wing area is 48.5 sq. inches.
